Modular design, pinpoint creativity

Our 2-engineer design department oversees the entire technical design of our wooden modular structures. This is where ideas take shape, between 3D models, calculation notes and prototypes.

Each project is designed to :

  • Quickly adapt to a variety of sites (urban, natural, heritage...)
  • Easily assembled/disassembled, without complex tools
  • Optimize the use of materials (local wood, reusable screws)
  • Reduce transport and handling

And always, without sacrificing design. Because an ephemeral place can (and must) be beautiful.

Innovation means anticipating

What sets our BE apart is its ability to innovate upstream, by integrating :

  • Usage constraints (public, weather, safety, accessibility)
  • Circular economy logics (zero waste, disassembly, maintenance)
  • Customer needs in terms of flexibility, brand image and speed

For example, our structures are designed to be combinable, like a Lego set. This means that the same batch of parts can be used on a 20 m² stand or a 200 m² hall, with controlled costs and resources.

We also develop specific solutions in-house: invisible fixings, quick connections, integrated technical elements (signage, lighting, storage...), without compromising on durability.

They are also responsible for developing ever more innovative products! Our two latest innovations with La Grange and Le Kiosque illustrate their ability to meet challenges and enable us to offer ever more differentiating solutions, while remaining true to our values and concept.

Constant collaboration with workshops & construction sites

Our design office is not isolated, but works hand in hand with modeling, the workshop, project managers, logistics and site managers.

  • Upstream, to check feasibility.
  • Downstream, to adapt plans to the reality of assembly and feedback.
  • And throughout the year, to improve, make more reliable and optimize each solution.

It's this constant link between design, production and the field that enables us to deliver perfectly fitted, reliable and durable structures, event after event.

And tomorrow?

Our design office is also exploring new structural solutions, alternative materials and innovative assembly methods, to continue developing our offer towards a more circular, more agile and more responsible event industry.

Our competitive edge lies in our ability to prototype differently, model soberly and think long-term.
